Super Tracker App FAQs

It’s important to ensure you have the latest version of the App installed to prevent using an outdated version that is no longer supported.

Q: What does the App do?

A: The App is designed to allow our members to utilise the GoalTracker/MyTracker tools and other functions.

The GoalTracker/MyTracker tools helps you:

  • Set a personalised goal – by working out how much money you’ll need to pay for the lifestyle you want retirement
  • Track your progress and suggests things you can do if you fall behind
  • Invest your super to your personal circumstances so you don’t have to worry about it.

Use the App for all of this and more:

  • See how your balance compares with others like you
  • View your personalised investment returns
  • Update your details, including beneficiaries
  • Check your insurance cover in super
  • See how much you can still contribute and make extra contributions

Q: Where can I download the App?

A: There is a version of Super Tracker for both iOS and Android devices. Click either of these links to be taken to the App store – Apple App Store , Google Play Store

Q: How much does the App cost?

A: Nothing! The App is free for our members to download and use.

Q: Who can use the App?

A: Most Russell Investments Master Trust members can use the App, including all Nationwide Super, Resource Super and Salaam Super members. You need to have registered for online access before you can login to Super Tracker.

Note that not all features will be available to Defined Benefit members.

The App is not available to iQ Retirement members drawing a pension.

Q: I’m a Defined Benefit member, can I use the App?

Yes. Defined Benefit members can download and access the App. However, not all features of the App will be available, including the GoalTracker tools.

Q: I’m an iQ Retirement member, can I use the App?

A: The App is not available to iQ Retirement members drawing a pension at this time.

Q: What do I need to do to register/log in?

A: You’ll need to be registered for online access and use those details (your member number and password) to log in to the App:

Q: I have forgotten my member number

A: Your member number can be found on your annual statement. Alternatively, you can call us and we can provide it. Russell Investments and Resource Super members can call 1800 555 667, Nationwide Super members call 1800 025 241, and Salaam Super members call 1300 926 626.

Q: I can’t remember my password

No worries, reset your password at Russell Investments, Resource SuperNationwide Super, and Salaam superannuation.

Q: I’m having issues logging in

A: You can call or email us for help with any issues.



Q: Can I register online if I live overseas?

A: Online registration is not currently available to overseas members.

Q: What kind of mobile phone do I need to use the App?

A: You need an iPhone or Android phone to download and use the App.

Apple devices are supported, provided they have been updated to iOS 12 or later:

Many Android Smartphones are supported (Samsung/Google Pixel/LG/Sony etc) provided they have been updated to Android 8.0 (codename Oreo) or later. 

Q. How do I navigate through the GoalTracker tools

By telling us about yourself and your goals, we help you work out how much money you’ll need to pay for the lifestyle you want and if you’re on track to get there. Once you’re in the App, it starts with two simple steps:

-        Step 1: Tell us about yourself - including any super you have with another fund, your current salary, home-owner status, other assets, and your likely retirement age. You’ll get a projection of your annual retirement income. 

-        Step 2: Set a meaningful goal – choose from 5 different levels to tell us how you want to live in retirement with regards to travel, dining out and groceries, leisure activities, health, transport, clothing and housing costs. You’ll get a projection of the income you’ll need to live that way.

Your personalised dial will show you exactly how you’re tracking between your current projected income and your goal income.  

From there, you have the option to take it further with GoalTracker Plus1 – an additional service that takes the guesswork out of how to invest your super and helps create your very own investment strategy based on the information you’ve provided and your retirement income goal.

Remember and projections or calculations provided in the App are estimates only and are not predictions or guarantees of actual results.  The actual amounts achieved may be higher or lower. 

Q: Does the App have the same features as the desktop version of my online account?

Essentially, yes. The benefit of the App is that you can manage your super anywhere, anytime on your mobile device.

Q: I have the previous Russell Investments Super App – do I need to download Super Tracker?

Yes. With the launch of Super Tracker, the previous Super App will no longer be supported and will eventually be switched off. By downloading Super Tracker, you can login using the same access details, and enjoy the new features including the GoalTracker/MyTracker tools.

Q: Are there usage Terms & Conditions for the App?

Q: Can I use the App on my iPad or Android Tablet?

A: Yes. While there isn’t a separate iPad or Android Tablet version of the Super Tracker App at this time, the mobile phone App will operate with full functionality on an iPad or Android Tablet.

Q: Is the App secure?

A: The App is built with bank-level security, the same as our secure website. Access is protected with the same password you use for the Online Member Centre via our website.

Q: Does the App use real time data?

A: Yes. Most data, including personal/contact details, beneficiaries, investment options etc is reflected in real time. 

Q: If I log in online via my desktop and look at my App at the same time, will the data be the same?

A: Our website and App use the same systems, so the data will be the same on both.
