Russell Investments completes acquisition of Zurich Investment Management
Expands Australian wealth platform to A$11bn and broadens adviser distribution
Sydney, 1 April 2026 – Russell Investments has completed its acquisition of Zurich Investment Management Limited (“ZIM”). The acquisition, announced in January 2026, brings Russell Investments’ retail and wealth funds under management in Australia to approximately A$11 billion and expands its distribution footprint across Australian financial advisers.
Jason Edgar, Head of Asia Pacific at Russell Investments, said:

It is complementary to our existing business and enables us to extend more of our global investment capabilities locally.”

The suite of funds will be rebranded as the Z Series by Russell Investments funds. The funds’ structures, underlying investment strategies and specialist managers will remain unchanged, providing continuity for advisers and investors.
