These Terms of Use govern the relationship between Russell Investment Management Ltd (Russell Investments) and an Australian Financial Services licensee (or a representative or authorised representative of the licensee, as the case requires) (together, Licensee, I or me) in connection with use of the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) that Russell Investments has developed for use by financial advisers with certain long term, medium term and short term managed portfolios (together, the Retirement Suite).

Each Australian Financial Services licensee (or the representative or authorised representative of the licensee, as the case requires) must accept and agree to these Terms of Use, before accessing and using the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator).

Limitations

The retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) use a number of assumptions that may not match the actual circumstances of your client, now or in the future. They should not be relied on for the purpose of making a decision in relation to a financial product, without due consideration to the appropriateness of the outworkings of the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) to the personal circumstances of your client, in order to comply with your obligations to your client under relevant laws.

Warranties

I warrant that:

  • I am a duly authorised Australian Financial Services licensee (or a representative or authorised representative of a licensee).
  • the Australian Financial Services licence under which I operate contains relevant authorisations to provide financial product advice to a retail client in respect of financial products.
  • I have the power and authority to acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Use and, in doing so, I will not breach any other obligations I may have.

Undertakings and acknowledgements

I agree to:

  • comply with my legal obligations under relevant laws in connection with use of the Retirement Suite and will only use the Retirement Suite for lawful purposes.
  • not share with or provide the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) to any client.
  • not provide financial advice to a client using the Retirement Suite without due consideration to the appropriateness of the outworkings of the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) to the personal circumstances of the client, in order to comply with relevant laws.
  • comply with any reasonable requirement of Russell Investments to undertake training or education on the Retirement Suite.
  • ensure the security of any device I use to access the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator), for the purposes of these Terms of Use.
  • immediately cease using the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator), if I no longer qualify as an Australian Financial Services licensee, no longer qualify as a representative or an authorised representative of such an Australian Financial Services licensee or am no longer authorised to provide financial product advice to a client in respect of relevant financial products.
  • Russell Investments can, without limitation or prior notice, vary the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) or revoke my access to the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator), in its sole discretion or as required by relevant laws.
  • Russell Investments does not guarantee the accuracy of the information available on the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator).
  • Russell Investments does not represent or warrant that the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator) will be free of any virus or error.
  • Russell Investments may monitor my use of the retirement methodology and projection tool (glidepath calculator).
  • my continued use of the Retirement Suite reflects my ongoing intention to be bound by these Terms of Use.
  • these Terms of Use survive cessation of my use of the Retirement Suite.

Indemnity and liability

I agree to indemnify Russell Investments (together with its affiliates) for any loss incurred as a result of or in connection with my failure to comply with these Terms of Use.

Russell Investments (together with its affiliates) accepts no liability for losses incurred in connection with use of the Retirement Suite.

Property

Any concepts, ideas, know-how, techniques, software (including programs, program listings and programming tools), web sites (including graphic designs, site maps and architecture, and calculation, projection and modelling routines), improvements, manuals, techniques, reports, drawings and intellectual property of Russell Investments or used by Russell Investments remains the property of Russell Investments. Use of the Retirement Suite does not grant or convey any intellectual property rights.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales. I submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts exercising jurisdiction there.

Russell Investments' ownership is composed of a majority stake held by funds managed by TA Associates Management, L.P., with a significant minority stake held by funds managed by Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. Certain of Russell Investments' employees and Hamilton Lane Advisors, LLC also hold minority, non-controlling, ownership stakes.

On July 2, 2026, Russell Investments Group, Ltd. (“Russell Investments”) entered into a definitive agreement and plan of merger (the “Transaction”) pursuant to which Russell Investments will be acquired by a consortium led by B Capital Group Management, L.P. that includes California Public Employees Retirement System. The Transaction is expected to close by the end of Q1 2027, subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
