Alexander Cousley is the Asia Pacific Investment Strategist for Russell Investments. His research and views help guide Russell’s actively managed portfolios. As well as coverage of the Asia Pacific, he is a member of the Risk-On, Risk-Off, and Listed Real Assets SME team, responsible for tactical opportunities and process enhancement. ​

Alexander is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Sydney. Before joining Russell Investments, Alexander worked at BIS Shrapnel as an asset sales consultant for an economic research firm. He advised on a number of large Australian infrastructure deals, including Transgrid, Ausgrid, and the Port of Melbourne. Alexander also built a national freight model for an Australian rail transport company.​

Russell Investments' ownership is composed of a majority stake held by funds managed by TA Associates Management, L.P., with a significant minority stake held by funds managed by Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. Certain of Russell Investments' employees and Hamilton Lane Advisors, LLC also hold minority, non-controlling, ownership stakes.
