Gabriel Sauma is the Director, and Co-Head of the Equity Research team, based in London. He is responsible for the research and evaluation of investment strategies, identifying those which are likely to generate returns in excess of the relevant market indices and peer groups. His coverage includes equities, including global emerging markets, Asia ex-Japan, China, as well as regional and frontier markets.​

Gabriel is also a member of the Equity Strategy Team responsible for identifying and maintaining tactical positions for portfolios across the organization.​

Gabriel first joined Russell Investments in 2003, working in the European equities team as a research analyst. He ran his own business between 2006 and 2012 before returning to the firm in 2012.​

Prior to Russell Investments, Gabriel spent two years with Hewitt Associates as a research analyst covering Global and European Equities.​

Russell Investments' ownership is composed of a majority stake held by funds managed by TA Associates Management, L.P., with a significant minority stake held by funds managed by Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. Certain of Russell Investments' employees and Hamilton Lane Advisors, LLC also hold minority, non-controlling, ownership stakes.
