Jonathan Needham is President of Russell Investments Canada Limited (RICL). In this role, Jonathan is focused on positioning the firm for long-term growth in the Canadian marketplace.

Under Jonathan’s leadership, Russell Investments Canada plans to build on its strong momentum in strategic innovations, including separately managed accounts, alternative investments, and ETFs—providing advisors with enhanced flexibility in serving their clients.

Jonathan is a member of Russell Investments’ Global Operating Committee, ensuring activities across divisions align with the company’s strategic vision and long-term goals. He also serves as a trustee of the Russell Investment Company Canada Board of Directors. Jonathan is based at the firm’s Toronto headquarters.

Prior to joining Russell Investments, Jonathan held several progressive roles in the financial services sector, including Senior Sales Executive, Head of Marketing, Head of Distribution, Portfolio Manager, and Director of ETF Distribution at large asset management firms.
