Maarten Roeleveld is Managing Director, CPS Sales, EMEA. Based in Amsterdam, he is responsible for leading business conversations with institutional investors in mainland Europe around multi-manager portfolio implementation challenges.

Maarten is well versed in the firm’s implementation solutions tailored for institutional investors such as transition management, interim management, currency management, trading and middle-office services.

With knowledge and experience in operations, Maarten likes to look for more efficient ways to implement multi- manager portfolios. In close, creative conversations with his counterparts, he looks for ways to improve efficiency at the investor side. Efficiency can be measured by reduced cost, increased control or enhanced flexibility.

Prior to joining Russell Investments in 2018, Maarten spent nearly 10 years as Senior Vice President at Northern Trust. There, he was responsible for the development of the Dutch institutional market in the areas of custody, fund administration and outsourcing of investment operations. Before that, Maarten spent three years at Ordina BPO (business process outsourcing) where he was responsible for business development of the outsourcing proposition for  financial institutions.
