Edward Rosenberg is Head of ETF Product at Russell Investments, the global investment solutions provider founded in 1936 with $300 billion in assets under management. Based in Milwaukee, he is responsible for Product Management and Capital Markets as they relate to ETFs. He brings to his new role 30 years of experience in finance, including a 20-year history as a pioneer in the ETF industry.
Most recently, Edward was Managing Director, Head of ETF & Funds Management at Texas Capital, where he created and launched the first money market ETFs. Prior to joining Texas Capital in February2023, Edward served as Head of ETFs at American Century Investments. In under five years, he built a platform of 35 ETFs with $35 billion in AUM and was the first to launch semi-transparent ETFs in March2020.
Edward also served as FlexShares’ Head of ETF Capital Markets at Northern Trust, where he developed new ETF strategies and managed 26 authorized participants (APs), market-making firms, and exchanges. Before that, he was Head of Capital Markets at Russell Investments, where he launched 17 ETFs and secured over $225 million in seed capital—along with $30 million for new Australian-domiciled ETFs. He also signed 18 APs, managed market-making firms, and led the company’s acquisition of U.S. One.
Edward began his career at Vanguard, where he directed ETF product development, including the launch of seven bond sector ETFs, two domestic ETFs, and four broad-based bond ETFs.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. Edward is a frequent guest on Bloomberg, CNBC, and Fox Business, and has been quoted in numerous publications including Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.
