Megan Roach
Senior Director, Head of Equity Portfolio Management
Megan Roach is a Senior Director, serving as Co-Head of Equity Portfolio Management and Total Solutions Portfolio Manager, based in Seattle, WA. In these capacities, she is accountable for asset class strategy, portfolio construction, manager selection, and dynamic risk management to help clients achieve their long-term objectives. Within equities, Megan is the senior investment professional overseeing Russell Investments’ mandates in the US Large Cap, US Small Cap, and Global Small Cap asset classes. She has been a member of the Investment Division’s Investment Strategy Committee, which oversees all investment management at Russell Investments, since 2020.
Prior to assuming portfolio management responsibilities, Megan served on Russell Investments’ US small cap manager research team from 2005 to 2015, including acting as head of research for the US small cap asset class starting in 2013. Megan’s team was responsible for evaluating and ranking a broad universe of micro to mid-cap manager strategies across the growth to value style spectrum. In this capacity, she supported both Russell Investments’ portfolio managers as well as the firm’s institutional consulting client base with advice on manager selection, portfolio structure, and ongoing monitoring.
Megan joined the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Council in 2021 and is the sponsor of the Women’s Associate Resource Group. She served as a committee member for Russell Investments’ associate retirement plan from 2010 to 2017. She is also a member of the CFA Society of Seattle and an active volunteer with the youth development organization Camp Fire.
