Senior Director, Head of Private Markets Research

Wade Millen serves as Senior Director, Head of Private Markets Research where he oversees global private equity, private credit, real assets and multi-manager research activities. He is also a voting member of the Alternatives Subcommittee (“ASC”) and serves on numerous Limited Partner Advisory Committees for fund managers in the United States and in Europe.

Prior to joining Russell Investments in 2010, Mr. Millen served as a senior member of the manager research group at Verus Investments where he led both private markets and liquid alternatives research. His responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring investments across the spectrum of alternative strategies including buyouts, venture capital, global infrastructure, commodities, private credit and hedge funds.

In 2020, Mr. Millen was selected amongst a global pool of candidates to serve as an AILA (Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy) International Fellow at The Centerfor Strategic & International Studies (CSIS). CSIS is among the highest ranked think tanks worldwide. He is also a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Seattle, and the CAIA Association.
