Kelly Mainelli

MANAGING DIRECTOR, HEAD OF CUSTOMIZED PORTFOLIO SOLUTIONS

Kelly Mainelli is a Managing Director and Head of Customized Portfolio Solutions for Russell Investments. He is responsible for the firm’s proprietary equity, fixed income, currency, derivative, and asset allocation strategies. Kelly is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He joined Russell Investments in 2007 and has since held several leadership roles within the firm including Head of Proprietary Strategies and Managing Director of Direct Fixed Income Investments. Before joining Russell Investments, Kelly was a director of Fixed Income for Columbia Funds. He also has experience managing money market funds at Montgomery Asset, and he worked as a fixed income trader for D.E. Frey. Prior to that, Kelly directed strategy and security selection for the fixed income group at American Frontier Financial, and he also managed three municipal funds for Strong Capital, earning the top Lipper award in the category.
