Kate El-Hillow serves as Global Chief Investment Officer and President for Russell Investments. Based in New York, Kate leads Russell Investments’ global investment team with responsibility for all aspects of the Investment Division including asset management, implementation and research. She also serves on the firm’s executive committee.

Kate has more than 25 years of proven success in investment management roles. This includes deep expertise in outsourced CIO investment solutions and multi-asset portfolio management.

Prior to joining Russell Investments in 2021, Kate spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs where she worked in the firm’s New York and London offices serving as Deputy Chief Investment Officer of global Multi-Asset Solutions. Most recently, she served as Deputy Chief Investment Officer, and prior to that she was a Senior Portfolio Manager for OCIO portfolios and Head of Portfolio Management and Trading. She has wide-ranging experience in portfolio construction, dynamic multi-asset allocation, and risk management.

Kate previously spent eight years at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. where she held dual roles as Client Portfolio Manager and Chief Operating Officer in the asset allocation business.
