Lisa Cavallari is the director of derivatives trading at Russell Investments. As a leader of the team, she manages global equity, fixed income and commodities derivatives traders. Her team is responsible for researching and implementing derivative overlay strategies for funds and clients. An architect of the OTC swap business for pension plan clients at Russell Investments, Lisa started her career at Russell Investments in 1991 as an analyst concentrating on the annual Russell index reconstitution. Lisa returned to Russell Investments in 2005.

Prior to returning to Russell Investments, Lisa spent over six years as a portfolio manager and trader at Barclays Global Investors now part of BlackRock. While there, she managed the equity index, credit derivative and convertible asset swap books, along with managing client derivative overlay strategies for large pension plans.

Other related experience includes a year spent at ZGI Group creating an equity hedge fund and a year as a researcher of equity indices at Ibbotson Associates. Lisa is a certified FRM and member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals. She is also a charter holder and member of the CFA Institute and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA).
