Mark Raskopf is a senior research analyst and portfolio manager for Russell Investments on the hedge fund team and Mark manages Russell's commodity portfolios benchmarked to the Bloomberg Commodity Index. He heads coverage of tactical trading strategies including discretionary and quantitative macro, managed futures, commodities and quantitative equity strategies. Mark joined Russell Investments in 2011 and has 25 years' experience in research and portfolio management across all hedge fund strategies.

Prior to Russell, Mark served as Head of the NY office for Ermitage Group, a UK-based fund-of-funds. At Ermitage, Mark managed bespoke institutional hedge fund portfolios as well as heading research for trading-oriented and relative value strategies.

From 2005 to 2008, Mark was a managing director at M. Safra & Co, a family office in New York where he headed the hedge fund investing efforts for the family. At M. Safra, Mark managed a diversified hedge fund portfolio which grew to $1bn.

Prior to M. Safra, Mark was involved in the design and implementation of Bank of America's internal fund-of-funds group. Mark was co-portfolio manager across all products and served as co-research director for the team of analysts. During his tenure at Bank of America, total product assets grew to $1.4bn.

From 1996 to 2001, Mark held various roles at Deutsche Bank, Kenmar Group and Winklevoss Consultants where he was involved in hedge fund manager research and portfolio management.
