RIM will use best efforts to execute requests received in good form prior to 10am Pacific Time (PT) same day; however, this does not guarantee a specific timeframe for processing and completion. Requests submitted after 10am PT will not be processed until the following business day on a best effort basis. It is not uncommon for trade execution to extend from one up to several days due to the customized, separately managed nature of the firm’s portfolio management activities. Standard settlement time is T+2 from trade date.
I acknowledge all mutual funds and ETFs not on the acceptable ETF list must be liquidated to cash. If mutual funds or non-acceptable ETFs are not liquidated prior to account opening, Russell Investments will instruct the advisor or home office to liquidate before any action can be taken on the account. Unless specified in the YTD realized net long/short term gain/loss fields, the realized gain/loss from the liquidation of the mutual funds and/or non-acceptable ETFs will not be taken into consideration if a transition or budget is selected, and any tax or capital gains budget specified must also exclude the gains or losses from the liquidation of mutual funds or non-acceptable securities. If you would like the realized gain/loss of the liquidated mutual funds and/or non-acceptable securities to be included in the management of the account this year, please complete the above two YTD realized net long/short term gain/loss fields based on the realized gains/losses from liquidating the securities and include them in any tax or capital gain budget specified.
Russell Investments' ownership is composed of a majority stake held by funds managed by TA Associates Management, L.P., with a significant minority stake held by funds managed by Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. Factor overlay – These will emphasize a specific investment style
Dividend: available for the Personalized DI Large Cap SMA (S&P 500 Index benchmark) and Personalized DI All Cap SMA (Russell 3000 Index benchmark) strategies only.
Seeks to provide dividend yield on average above benchmark in a tax efficient manner, harvesting losses when opportunity exists. This overlay screens for companies that pay dividends, as non-dividend paying stocks are excluded. Additionally, this overlay screens for sustainability of dividends by removing the bottom quartile of companies based on their distance to default. Typical holding range for DI Large Cap is between 100 – 150 stocks and for DI All Cap is between 180 – 240 stocks when overlay is applied. To maintain neutral sector exposure relative to the respective benchmark, and to aid with individual security weights & concentration, two controls are applied: 1) minimum number of stocks per sector where available and 2) maximum overweight allowances relative to benchmark weight. To ensure accounts hold stocks that meet this criteria, semi-annual rebalancing may be implemented.
Muni state specific overlay – Use this to add or remove a state restriction to a municipal bond strategy. This option is only available for the Personalized Municipal Bond 1-5 Year Ladder or Personalized Municipal Bond 1-10 Year Ladder strategies
