Alexander Cousley, CFA

Alexander Cousley is the Asia Pacific Investment Strategist for Russell Investments. His research and views help guide Russell’s actively-managed portfolios. As well as coverage of the Asia Pacific, he is a member of the Risk-On, Risk-Off and Listed Real Assets SME team, responsible for tactical opportunities and process enhancement.

Alexander is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Sydney. Prior to joining Russell Investments, Alexander worked at BIS Shrapnel as an asset sale consultant for an economic research firm. He advised on a number of large Australian infrastructure deals, including Transgrid, Ausgrid and the Port of Melbourne. Alexander also built a national freight model for an Australian rail transport company.
