Why get additional insurance?

While this may be perfectly adequate to cover the needs of some people, others may have reason to consider getting additional insurance.

Marriage, divorce, a new house, a promotion, a change in jobs, having children, etc. are all important life events that can create the need for additional insurance.

You’ve crunched the numbers, added up potential expenses, and maybe it shows that you don’t have enough insurance to cover your needs or to make sure your dependants aren’t faced with a financial burden.
